Country: | Hi guys, Mediaportal is taking up 35-50% of my CPU when I start to navigate - even if I stop navigating and do nothing. I went into the screen calibrations and even though the frame rate limit is 30fps, the readout next to it is 100+ fps. When I turn the TV on MP is at 100% CPU. Log files are attached. Steps to reproduce - start in windowed version -> press up -> CPU spikes and stays high MediaPortal Version: SVN Build 11739 (15.11.2006 / 17:25 CET) MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: WindowsXP CPU Type: Intel HDD: 200 Gb Memory: 512 Motherboard: Intel Motherboard Chipset: Motherboard Bios: Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 6600 Video Card Driver: 6.14.0010.9371 Sound Card: Sound Card AC3: Sound Card Driver: 1. | I noticed on the main page that this seems to be fixed and MediaPortal should honour maximum fps now. MediaPortal Core 15/11/2006 [22:35h] micheloe added: Fixed maximum FPS from settings wasn't honoured |

Country: | It doesn't seem to always take. The first time it worked. The second and third times I tried to change the fps, it didn't. The fourth time it worked. Weird... |

Country: | The fps aren't fully reached but I guess michel will try to improve. Please report if there are area where it doesn't work at all. Also note that high fps will increase cpu drastically if there are many scrolling labels and other stuff on a screen. |

Country: | I'm having the problem on a fresh MP install with the 11.19.2006 SVN. After setting it and exiting, the FPS are observed. Attached is a screen cap of the first time a new install is started and I go to the calib screen. Setting it and then restarting MP makes it obey the setting |
