Diehard, it seems to do the trick! It ran a week without BSOD! Great!

Edit: Still BSODing. DAMN!

My System

Damn, two BSODs today, and I just started using the NVIDIA DualTV (installed it this weekend), so this rules out the TV card.

Any running RAIDservice?

Are you guys making any progress in locating this bug? Windows or MP?

Hi eloo,

I don't think anyone is actively looking into it. Its not affecting any developers, and your logs don't show a problem with MP. So, this makes it next to impossible to track down. If there were hundreds (or even a couple dozen) of users with this problem, we could probably track it down, but its only affecting a very few. This strongly suggests that its a problem with your computer (drivers/bios - motherboard, vidcard, etc). Try switching decoders to mpv/mpa and see if that helps your problem. Sorry I can' t be more helpful

Diehard, thanks a lot for your effort. I have full understanding, and I am grateful you took the time to look at this thread.

If its ok, I would like to keep the thread open to rally users with the same blue screen.

Btw, what does your blue screen say?

Nice to know, I am still not alone. Its really terrible.

I have now tried different TV cards, different ACPI drivers, nForce driver. Still no luck.

I get 0x0000008E.

Debugged its a stream.sys caused bsod.

Try progressively turning down the hardware acceleration for your video card in the advanced display properties.

fixed

Solved by upgrading to Vista. I believe its a rotten driver in XP.
