Don't want to worry you, but I had something similar to this which turned out to be an overheating graphics card - mine was the EXACT same model too. Turned out that the gunk connecting the gpu to the cooler had failed. I ended up installing a Zalman passive heat cooler instead, now it works a treat.

As mentioned, check the video card out. Artifacts can be produced by excess video overclocking or overheating.

I have the artifacts as well. It only occurs on Blue2. My card is stock clock and shows no other signs of problems in other graphic intensive applications.

Hi,
This is a nvidia driver problem & have come in with the 90 series of drivers. If you remove all your channel thumbs (images) the problem it's gone. This can also happen in Recorded TV & Scheduled TV, where those images it's presented.
Don't think it is a MP bug, but will have an eye on this

Regards
Roy

Any news on this, I'm getting it to with a Nvidia 6600GT card.

Never experienced graphics problems in my other programs and my card isn't reporting high temps.

Are we sure its a Nvidia driver issue?

I saw another related thread where disabling the check-box "Enable write combining" removed the problem.

right-click the desktop
"properties"
"settings"
"advanced"
"troubleshoot"
un-check "Enable write combining"

OK I will try that, thanks. I also randomly get a single or double white line appearing from top left of the screen diagonally to the center text below the EPG.

I had the exact same "dancing triangles" when going into the TV guide (usually just as you enter it). I also have an nvidia card.

I disabled "Endable Write Combining", rebooted, and they seemed to have gone. Been going in and out of the TV Guide for last 10 minutes and haven't seen any!

So - looks like it did the trick for me. Thanks knutinh! Much appreciated.

EDIT: Spoke too soon, they are still there.

I tried disabling the write combining but it didn't help.
