Recordings not recorded completely

This happens random. A recording will loose the lock on the tuner and so a recording isn't complete, and the tuner can't get a lock until a new recording starts.

can nobody of the developers help me out, I think it's quite a big problem, does nobody have the same issue??

I was just watching Master and Commander which i recorded yesterday, and just before the final battle the recording ended prematurely!

Unfortunately i do not have any log files as they have been overwritten since, but there might be something to it.

I have noticed a similar "tuner lock" issue while watching live TV. The video (and sound?) will freeze and stay that way until I change to another channel and back again to the watched channel. Unfortunately, it is very intermittent and thus hard to pinpoint.

It seems to be related to a momentary drop in TV signal, but I would expect that MediaPortal should try to force the tuner to lock again. I have found that by changing to another channel and back again, the tuner will regain "lock" and then work fine ....

Of course, if this "tuner lock" issue occurs during a recording, then manual intervention is not likely, and the remainder of the recording is lost ....
