Country: | Hi, just wanna bump this one up. Still existant in RC4. The SetVideoBitrate() method of hauppauge.cs does not seem to work with the PVR 350. Seems as if the used structure is not the right one, because GetVideoBitrate() also gives back some strange values. With my PVR 150 the settings work, perhaps it depends on the different driver version? Quote:

Country: | I noticed that a couple of weeks ago a recording that I made (with RC4 no SVN) which usually take from 4 GB to 7GB was 15 GB for a movie under 2 hours. I went to the set up and checked that I had the quality setting on medium. Since then it hasn't happened, but I'm on SVN May 22nd. Maybe this is the same problem. Country: | Hi Ralph, sure. I am happy if someone can also look into this. Hauppauge Tweak Tool - open it and change to 250/350 TAB - choose your card and hit "Open" ![]() - this opens the Hauppauge driver settings - there are two places to see and set the bitrate. they are linked, if you change one the other is also set automatically. ![]() ![]() After running MP I saw 12500 (12.5) in the average bitrate settings. HTH, Flip. |
