Default MyPictures: Sort by date, size for subdirectories

Topic Title: MyPictures: "Sort by" does not work for Date and Size when viewing folders

Area: Media Portal Program
Windows Version: XP Professional with SP2 and all updates, .Net 1.1
CPU Type: AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Memory: 1024MB DDR 400 (PC 3200)
Motherboard Chipset: VIA K8M800
Video Card: GIGABYTE GV-N52128DS
Video Card Driver: NVIDIA 77.72 (6/15/2005)
Video Render Type: VMR9 - Renderless
Video Codec Type & Version: Mpeg2Dec Filter (YUV, Blend)
Audio Codec Type & Version: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM Audio Decoder
TV Card: Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 500 MCE
TV Card Type: Hardware
TV Card Driver: Hauppauge 2.0.30.23074 (3/15/2005)
Satelite/CableTV Provider: Cable - Comcast

Steps to recreate:
1. start mediaportal
2. go to MyPictures
3. MyPictures directory should contain several folders, where only the folders contain the actual image files
4. click Sort by: Name, ascending and descending, this works when viewing folders
5. click Sort by: Date and Sort by: Size, ascending and descending, should sort the list by folder date (ascending and descending) and folder size (respectively)

Maybe a screenshot will help explain:

I included the actual folder size in the name of the subdirectories. So, a Sort by: Size should place these folders in either an A-C-D-B list (ascending) or a B-D-C-A list (descending).

The problem is that I have so many folders it would be nice to have these sort functions working, especially when I want to bring the last-created folder to the top of the list. Currently, MP won't allow me to do that.

Regards,
Aaron

I failed to reproduce this one, read through the code to make sure that there weren't date format issues causing it and there aren't any that I can see so would be good if someone else could reproduce also.

I just reconfirmed, in case things had changed with later builds between my initial post and now. It still happens, using mediaportal-cvs-09-22-2005--14-02.

Just in case my first post was muddled, make sure you're performing the date and size sort functions on DIRECTORIES, not the image files themselves.

Regards,
Aaron
