MediaTobiPortal Portal Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 185 Thanks: 0 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post My System	*no vmr9 while playing .mpg files** I´d like to play all Movie Files in VMR9 because while playing in VMR9 mode I can change and adjust contrast and brightness very well using Powerstrip (with ATI 9600XT ,latest drivers, watching over TV-out). I don´t know why, but files with extension .mpg are always (no matter which codec or renderer I choose in configuration) displayed in overlay mode. DVR-MS aswell as .avi files are displayed in VMR9 mode. Using ffdshow doesn´t change anything. Maybe it´s no MP problem but something with my graphiccard settings, I´m not sure.... Is there anybody, who is able to play .mpg files in vmr9 mode ??
