Country: | Windows Version: XP Professional, SP2 CPU Type: AMD 2400+ Memory: 512 MB Motherboard: Gigabyte 7VM400M-RZ Motherboard Chipset: VIA KM400 Motherboard Bios: Video Card: ATI Radeon 9550 Video Card Driver: 5.9 Sound Card: VIA VT1617 Sound Card AC3: no AC3 Sound Card Driver: 6.14.1.4100 TV Card: Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T TV Card Type: DVB-T TV Card Driver: 3.11 Video Render Type: VMR9 Video Codec: NVIDIA Pure video v1.02.150 Audio Codec: Dscaler Satelite/CableTV Provider: n/a HTPC Case: n/a, modified Power Supply: n/a, 200W, modified Remote: MCE 2005 (EU version) TV: BENQ DLP Projector TV - HTPC Connection: Sub-D This is the same error that I get when I try to play an MP3 file in MyMusic (refer to this post). However, I can watch other video files that I have, without getting these errors. Also, I can copy and paste the "mms://" link into IE and it will play fine in Windows MediaPlayer10.... Steps to reproduce:- 1. Launch MediaPortal and select My Trailers 2. Select a move and then select a trailer or clip to view. Nothing happens - no black screen or any other signs of activity.... 3. Wait approximately 30 seconds and try the same trailer or clip again - MediaPortal then aborts.... This problem has only appeared since I installed .NET Framework 2.0 and applied the latest CVS. Here is the relevant section of the MediaPortal.log file:- Quote:

I am using the MCE2005 remote control unit, so the Hauppauge is not activated in my case. | |

| Yes, I have the Hauppauge remote control. But when I use it bij activating it in MP Setup I can't watch movietrailers (black screen). When I deactivate it watching movietrailers is ok. |

Country: | I have just applied the latest CVS (12-05-2005--23-09) and there is partial success.... The first time that I enter My Trailers (from a fresh launch of MP), I can select and play a trailer. However, if I stop the playing and exit My Trailers and then re-enter My Trailers (without doing anything else), it will no longer play any clips or trailers. MediaPortal does not exit or freeze, it just will not play any files.... Here is the relevant section of the MediaPortal log file for the time when I tried to play a second movie clip in My Trailers:- 7/12/2005 6:12:44 PM key:13 0xD (2) 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUITrailers deinit 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM texturemanager:dispose:thumbs\MPTemp -Memoirs of a Geisha.jpg frames:1 total:4 mem left:201326592 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM texturemanager:CleanupThumbs() 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM Total Memory allocated:5.29 MB 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM Recorder:disable dx9 exclusive mode 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM goto windowed:True 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUIVideoFullscreen init 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM player: file is not live tv, so stop timeshifting:mms://re2wmcontent56.bcst.re2.yahoo.com/re2pub07root5/re2pub07share18/yahoomovies/13/20120996.wmv?StreamID=20120996&b=639r4gd1i7uth4331 92d0&s=1808403312&Segment=160379&CG_ID=1395573 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM g_Player.Play(mms://re2wmcontent56.bcst.re2.yahoo.com/re2pub07root5/re2pub07share18/yahoomovies/13/20120996.wmv?StreamID=20120996&b=639r4gd1i7uth4331 92d0&s=1808403312&Segment=160379&CG_ID=1395573) 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM OnMessage exception roperty set of 'uiMode' cannot be invoked at this time.7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUIVideoFullscreen deinit 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM texturemanager:CleanupThumbs() 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM Total Memory allocated:5.29 MB 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM Recorder:disable dx9 exclusive mode 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM goto windowed:True 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM Texturemanager loaded temporay:thumbs\MPTemp -Memoirs of a Geisha.jpg 101x150 format:X8R8G8B8 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM texturemanager:added:thumbs\MPTemp -Memoirs of a Geisha.jpg total:3 mem left:201326592 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM window:MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUITrailers init 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM playingFalse radio:True 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM g_Player.Process() player stopped... 7/12/2005 6:12:45 PM g_Player.Stop() Notice the error message in red..... Country: | Now this is really weird - I just tried to reproduce the problem so I could submit some system log files - and I can't make the problem occur! I can't make it occur within My Music, nor within My Trailers - the problem has magically cured itself.... I can't recall making any changes today (and the problem has plagued me all day) that would explain why I can no longer reproduce it - except that I did re-boot my PC about an hour ago.....maybe that was the fix?.... |
