| UPDATE: the issue depends on if a channel has AC3 or not. So channel 2 includes AC3 audio but 1 and 3 not. the issue looks systematically. Whenever I tune from an AC3 channel to a none AC3 channel there is no audio. But only when timeshifting is on! I will attach the media portal log Hope somebody understands what I try to say. a few channels I tried 1 ARD 2 ZDF --> AC3 3 RTL 4 RTL 2 5 Pro7 --> AC3 6 SAT1 --> AC3 Windows Version: XP SP2 CPU Type: AMD 1750MHz Memory: 512MB DDR400 Motherboard: Shuttle SN41 Motherboard Chipset: Motherboard Bios: Video Card: ATI Video Card Driver: Sound Card: onboard Sound Card AC3: optical out Sound Card Driver: TV Card: HAUPPAUGE Nova-t USB2 TV Card Type: DVB-T TV Card Driver: 2.1 (5. Juli 2005) Video Render Type: VMR9 Video Codec: dscaler Audio Codec: dscaler Satelite/CableTV Provider: DVB-T Munich HTPC Case: Power Supply: Shuttle Remote: Hauppage TV: TV - HTPC Connection: synopsis: after installing the CVS build yesterday evening (mediaportal-cvs-11-02-2005--19-27.rar) the TV module works quite stable with timeshifting switched on. Only the sound disappeared after zapping the channels: I recognized the following (repeatable): Started mediaportal --> tuned to channel 1, sound is ok --> zapping to channel 2 --> picture and sound from channel 2 are ok --> zapping to channel 3, the picture is ok, sound is missing --> the same for all other channels --> zapping back to channel 2 also the sound is back --> zapping to channel 1 the sound is again missing --> switching off timeshifting, the sound apppears again Without timeshifting this does not happen. Channel changing with Timeshift OFF is fine, but once Timeshift is turned ON, the sound disappears from several channels, and occasionally MP will "self destruct" (terminate).... ![]() |
