Any attempt to rezise or full screen the mp windows when tv is on make the program crash with a Unhandled exeption.
Suggestion: if this old and *critical* bug cannot be solved, make impossible to resize the window, and turn back tv off before full screen is executed, then "tv on" back again.

An other strange behavior of Mp with screen gestion: i use Mp on a double screen system. If an other windows have focus on the main screen (where Mp is in a reduced window), the TV image (full screen) on the second monitor is verticaly cut in two. If MP has the focus, everithing is OK. Mp is the only Tv program with this behavior (I use 3 of them)

after having a look at the logs it seems that you havent made a clean install and/or configured MediaPortal befor you applied the cvs-snapshot.

The date of the CVS-Snashot you have used is also missing.

One other thing that could have happened is that your system is missing some Windows updates.

check that and test it again please.

i am curious how this will work out, because we cant reproduce this issue.
the only resize bug that is known is related to Windows Server 2003.

2. 2nd Screen issues (if you dont use clone) are mainly caused by M$.

This happens on *all* versions of Pm i've used till now. All. Clean install of not. And on my two partitions, (one spécialised for MP).

The other DBT-V program (DBPVR, PINNACLE etc...) dont have this issue !
I have one screen with applications and , on the other, WMR9 and Overlay in full screen, by graphic card.
No clone.

is this also happening when you use one Monitor (only one attached to the PC)?
or does it only occure with multi monitor setups?

have you any plugins installed that are not included in cvs/release version of MediaPortal? (i.e. EPG tool/plugin)

***edit***
i think i have found the reason for your problem.
this is out of your dxdiag file

because the error occures in directX, its very likely that the old files are the reason for this issue.

if reinstalling directX9 is not working (and i think it wont update the old files as far as i know the setup of dx9), use ::this tool:: to completely uninstall DirectX9. After that install the latest version of DirectX and the problem should be gone.

I believe those files are from DX9 sdk, (debug files) not used by runtime. Those Dll are not loaded in memory when MP run. (It is an error with Dxdiag, M$ said) I have removed them to be sure, no more warning with DXdiag. DirectX.cpl is just the control pannel of directX (changed now for the latest version).
No change, of course. Will try this week-end with a fresh install of windows, and let you know the result. Thanks a lot, Infinityloop, for your care.
