Default Auto hide mouse cursor when inactive not working as it should

Windows Version: Windows XP SP2

Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 6600v+
Video Card Driver: Forceware 81.98
Sound Card: C-Media High Definition Audio
Sound Card AC3:
Sound Card Driver: 5.12.01.0008.62
1. TV Card: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCII

When this option is turned on and MP has the focus, the cursor nicely disappears. However, when MP doesn't have the focus and you move the mouse over MP, the cursor disappears. This is not right. At this point, the cursor has to reappear because otherwise you have no way of telling where the cursor is when you click inside MP when activating it. It my be over a button that don't want to click on.

Bottom line: as soon as the mouse moves over the window (focus or not) show it.
