Default Mantis: 0001170: DVB radio streams don't play the first time of asking

Hi!

I was looking through issues in mantis and found this issue. And that it was resolved. I have had this issue so I immediately tried it out but I still have to select another channel in order to get the first one to play. Then I noticed that its Target Version RC2 does this mean the fix will included first in RC2 or is it included in the weekly svn:s? if it is then the fix is not working for me. I listen to radio through DVB-C, can that be the reason? I can post logs if this should have been fixed in the svns.

Targeted version means that it is intented to be fixed in RC2 (wich is not available yet.)

So even if it's not working with the latest svn but it says resolved I should wait until RC2 to test this again?
I thought issues that were resovled between RC1 and RC2 would be included in the weekly SVN:s?

Sorry, was reading a little bit too fast. If its already set to resolved it should be fixed in the public SVN build. The Mantis report should state the exact version of SVN where it's fixed.

Hi,
Nope the fix didn't work for everybody, but Ambass have now provided a fix(will not be in SVN before Friday i think) which works here, you can test the files found here (close MP & TV Service & copy TSReader.ax to MediaPortal root dir & copy TSWriter.ax to TV Server root dir & start them both & test radio ).

Regards
Roy

Yup its working for me too!...but there are still some issues:

-first a minor one if you listen to one channel then change to another then there's silence for about 1 sec then the first channel starts to play for a second or two and then the change to the second channel occurs. Is it somehow possible to stop and then restart when the second channel is tuned in? Just a thought.

-the other is more of a bug, to reproduce the error do the following:
1. tune in fta radio channel
2. tune in scrambled channel
3. you get the message cannot start timeshifting bla blaablblala...go back to previous channel?
4. click yes
5. nothing happens, it's not even possible to manually start a channel

Looking in MediaPortal.log there is a lot of "Main: DX9 re-entrant" entries.

I've included new log files for this issue.

Hi,
Wait for the Friday release (the .ax files i attached had a smal bug in it, but in svn Ambass havefixed that) & then open a new thread with remain bugs, the fta -> scrambled problem i think could be linked to same issue as we have with TV(same occurance)

Regards
Roy
