(...only 1 for the CPU) Power Supply: Silent one, without Fans Remote: Logitech Harmony 785 TV: Samsung LE-46N87BD TV - HTPC Connection: HDMI Since the RC releases i had the same behaviour... If i press the "r" button to record a show, or select in the epg the record button the programm is scheduled and the row is inserted in the sql table but the recording is not started. but if i close MP the recording is started in 2 seconds it seams that the action is only fired if mp is closing. any idea what this should be? thx MoPhat ![]() Last edited by MoPhat; 2008-05-25 at 23:16. |

Hi,
Not able to confirm this, but something else in your log seems weird(you also have a lot of errors & i'm not sure where they come from), you seems to be able to decrypt more channels then your limit(this could be a bug but i've tested that too but can't confirm, could be some limit on my system so who knows?): Quote:

I can't confirm this.
BTW According to the logs you seem to have some db troubles. I would suggest reinstalling MP+TvServer and removing the whole db before installing again

Ok, i have single seat and one remote clien with the latest SVN builds.
My second installation on a pc shows me the same behaviour... (!?) i push the record button...recording doesnt start (no file) .... closing mp (i'm watching all time the recording harddisk on the tv server) the file for the record appears after few seconds... i dont know where the fault is... i had this never on the pre RC releases, my decrypt limit on both FireDTV S2 cards on 4. where i should look for this fault? @gemx do you realy think that i should drop the db and rebuild it again > where is the logic that this come from the db? let me think, i had exported the tv settings from a pre RC version and imported this in the the RC realase. ok i think i drop the db and do NOT import from the settings and do all options manualy (my wife is killing me if anything is lost) and i have increased the decrypt to 8 i do tommorow some test with fres logs. thx MoPhat |

Ok, new tests are done.
- I have rebuilded a new TVS DB on the SQL2005 express. - Have not imported the old settings - Installed a clean new installation of my desktop pc Test started at 18:01 - select with the R button to record the show - waited if the message is appearing for that the recording has startes, yes its appeard - checked the recording folder on the server... no new file - closed at 18:03 MediaPortal - file is created logfiles attached, MP logfile was created in debug mode. maybe this info helps: i'm writing at moment a new plugin and if i write with the i have noticed too that if i write with this method Code:
using (MediaPortal.Profile.Settings xmlwriter = new MediaPortal.Profile.Settings(Config.GetFile(Config.Dir.Config, "test.xml")))
{
xmlwriter.SetValue(SectionName, "Titel01", txtTitel01.Text);
}
> that behaviour i have noticed on 3 different PCs. can anyone check this strange behaviour? MoPhat |
