Problem with ts files

Hi,

i have some Problems with the new Version of Media Portal.

I use Media Portal to show my record streams from my dvb-s dbox2.

the dbox2 record .ts files.

but i can´t play it with the new media portal version. only with one veeeery old version ( i think it was 0.2.0.0)

Thats the only version, that play that files.

My log file is inside the posting.

ok...i have mp rc1 on a another pc installed.

now it whas a vista client with thv server engine.

i try to play the *.ts files. only a short black screen starts.

thats the error log.

Looks like the TSreader isn't reg'd correctly on your pc and/or is conflicting with a previous instal from another directory.

Did you uninstall all previous/old versions of MP or tvserver form your PC.

Do a serach for all instances of tsreader.ax.

Then unreg from these old directories and ensure to reg from the correct directory.

Use regsvr32 from an ADMIN command prompt regsvr32 /? will give you the options.

Other filters may also be similarly affected like DVBsub2.ax.

there was no mp installing before on the pc.

ok...i have searched *.ax files...

but...there ist no tsreader.ax file...

many others....but no tsreader.....

TsReader.ax is usualy installed by the tvplugin in the MP main directory .

If it doesn't exist then that is the route of the problem , NO TS files will play.

ok. i have try the installation again. (on a pc without mp installation before) i have found the tsreader.ax in the mp folder. the problem is the same. but the log of the tsreader seems to be fine.

i think it is a problem of the recording stream from the dbox2 or xmediagrabber (thats the tool for recording the streams)

The .ts sample is missing PMT PID. Currently TsReader.ax is designed to work only on transport stream files that contain the PMT PID. Atleast nothing that we are going to add for MP 1.0.
