Locally on the same machine where I have TVServer it works well. I should've installed all hotfixes and font size is normal. I haven't tried using remote client for a couple of months, but back then it did work. Btw, MediaPortal was already listed as an exception in XP's firewall config - what could one do in the FW to enable client? I would not like to disable to FW altogether. Last edited by putkonen; 2008-04-27 at 14:59. |

I'm using ZoneAlarm as firewall, what program shall I open the firewall for on the client and on the server, see if thats the problem? I've opened it for the program that the doc says. |

Hi,
Juppe, according to the logs your problem wasn't the same(log wise), but usually to test you should disable firwall on both. If that does it you have to open ports for MediaPortal & Configuration on client comp & for TVServer & "sqlserver" & "sqlbrowser" should be enough. Regards Roy |
