Hi,
Juppe, it's one thing you have to do if you have updated to Vista SP1 & that is run Filmerit to get rid of some filter mess SP1 made(seems like many ppl experienced what i do with mess around Direct Sound).

Roy

Hi,
One of your logs indicating missing references to Direct Sound devices(i assumed you used vista SP1 since i have seen many issues with exactly same error message in the log), maybe a updated soundcard or something. Anyway Filmerit can fix that...

I shall look into that about the missing reference to DirectSound device, but the strange thing is that it works with live-TV, but that maybe is a different way of sending video to the client?

What do you mean by "Filmerit can fix that..."

Hi,
Juppe, Filmerit scans your direct show filters & if some of them it's missing can remove, so it doesn't make a mess with programs using them (it also creates a restorepoint if you want to go back)

Roy

I reinstalled RC1 using deploy tool + applied latest SVN but still it would work without disabling firewall. In addition to adding MP to exceptions, what ports should be opened in the FW?
