Don't always blame me, ronilse! I'm not trying to treat you bad, I'm just trying to submit you some experince with the software you are working on. But that is not so easy as you always seem to be a little bit pissed and insist in the perfect bug report. Take this thread as an example. Please don't think that anyone who posts a bug is trying to attack you personally. Take it easy, read the post carefully and ask for more information if needed. Then there can be only benefit for MP!

Back to topic: Thx, I will try the new SVN with the MPFileWriter.ax under XP32 and XP64 and report back.

For everyone who is trying to help : Thank you.

For the rest, be constructive or please get out of this topic. I would like to get this bug resolved, because I love MP. I don't want a fight over who can piss the farthest in this topic.

Sincerely,
Ronald.

I've taken these steps. Problem still occurs, but logs seem to contain more info now.

I'm still just trying a manual timeshift from within the tv-server.

I've attached the logs. If there's anything else I need to do, please let me know.

Hi,
What drivers do you use?
If you have a older one, you could try this one.

Edit: NM, it's the one you use

Roy

Hi,
Have you tried reinstalling drivers for your card?
See that it have problems with graph building "[11]: analog: unable to add crossbar to graph"

Roy

Good news from my side: For me, the new MPFileWriter.ax fixes the problem under XP64! The latest SVN and MPFileWriter.ax still works under XP32 (expected that) and TV-Server seems to run under XP64 again (but only with the new filter). Hauppauge drivers are 2.0.48.24227 (CD 2.7A) btw. So it is my turn to send a big THX to ronilse!

fixed

I reinstalled the drivers, following this procedure, and that has fixed it. THANKS !!

1. Stop TV-service
2. hwclear
3. reboot
4. Stop TV-Service
5. reinstall drivers
6. Reboot.

And it's working again. I'm also (of course) using the new MPFileWriter.ax

This topic can be closed. Thanks for the help.

Question WinTV GO: TVServer configuration finds no channels

Hi,
I ran into a similar problem using a WinTV GO2, and hope you have some advice for me.
MediaPortal 0.2.2 worked (so, so), but RC1 TV Server won't find any TV channels. The drivers I found on the Hauppauge website were older than those I got on the CD (DriverVer=12/05/2005,2.110.23339), so I didn't reinstall any. Should I have done so? I'm running WinXP Pro SP2, btw.
Thanks in advance!
