Trying out the new release and have been recording alot, but none of it seems to be added to the "Recorded TV" section. I can find the files in videos (where I have added my recordings folder) and I can play them, so I know they are there.

I'm not sure what to supply, should I make a recording and then copy the logs from tvserver right after?

Use MPTestTool in your start menu for this, also always test with BlueTwo skin as possibly a skin error.

Thanks

Ok, I tried with blueTwo also, still the same.

Heres what I did:
  1. start MP
  2. enter MyTV
  3. Use channel button to tune a channel
  4. When it tunes, press record now
  5. wait for recording to start
  6. enter Recorded TV
  7. Doesn't show up
  8. Stop Recording
  9. Still doesn't show up

Got logs attached.

Hi,
Please use Filmerit to check your codecs (if this it's a vista comp & you have recently updated to SP1, many codecs are broken!!!!), then reboot & re configure MediaPortal.

Regards
Roy

I have tried recording both in mpeg and in Ts, with no change in the result.

I'll try doing what ronilse says, althought I can't see how this is a codec problem? I can play the files from the video plugin (although I have no sound, but I thought that was an entirely different problem). Does the Recorded TV view depend on whether MP reads the codecs right?
I am having this issue on all my computers, both XP and Vista.

@RTV:
No, I haven't touched the database. For this installation I uninstalled MSsql server and used the installer to install everything.

I still have the SQL management studio installed though, but Don't think I've even opened it since installing RC1
