hi, just two things i have noticed in version 0.2.3.0 and that although i waited to see if in RC1 was fixed, its not.

1st)

When watching TV fullscreen, press F9 or remote to show menu, select tv guide to show guide on top of live tv

once here i tried to select a program to record so i hit "R" or rec in remote.

i get a message asking to record current program instead of what i had selected in the guide. <== FIRST PROBLEM

and also, if you agree to record on that message, the tv guide stays freezed on screen. <=== SECOND PROBLEM

2nd)

When in fullscreen, watching tv. the "stop" button in remote or the "B" key in keyboard does not stop live tv, whilst if u are in any other situation, it works.

can someone confirm all these as bugs, or not??

p.d.: i can attach logs but i have tried in 3 computers with the same result, so i guess its a mp issue.

Thats how it works for a running manual record, you have to be on the channel you wish to record. (wrong misread question)

Thought it did, will check and come back in a minute.

No, it works if timeshifting or watching a recorded show, but not live TV.

This is by design, as if you choose another media type playback it stops tv, or shut down MP, both do what was intended.

what about this one?

this is the main problem of my post.

its a shame about the stop button, i find it usefull to be able to stop live tv in any situation, but not a big issue

can u check the problem with the tvguide remaining on screen without being able to get rid of it. u need to accept the message of recording the channel as described before

thanks and please tell me if u also get the problem

Ok now i have exactly what you mean.

1. goto live fullscreen TV
2. info button twice, chose tvguide
3. select another channels already running program, press record button.
4. option shown current program or manual stop, choose current program.
5. recording starts ok but unable to remove epg overlay from screen.

Sound about right

Passed it to the testers to confirm and then will mark as bug.

Thanks for pointing out, never used epg quite like that before, know what i want to record in advance.

1. please post bugreports in the right forum. you use the tv-server, why do you post it in the mediaportal forum?
2. why are there no logs? next time follow the bugreport rules!

i didnt think a bug report was necessary as its easy to reproduce by any dev and i even thought it would not produce any error log. i offered to upload logs if neccesary.

i posted in the mediaportal forum as this happens within mediaportal but using tvserver, didnt know where to put it.

i was trying to help reporting a possible bug, but from your post all i got was "negative" questions...i dont understand why.

at least i hope that opening the thread was usefull in some way...

The test

1. goto live fullscreen TV
2. info button twice, chose tvguide
3. select another channels already running program, press record button.
4. option shown current program or manual stop, choose current program.
5. recording starts ok but unable to remove epg overlay from screen.

VISTA 32 EVR. DVB-T EPG. Can't reproduce the problem. Schedule is set for the current program (on any channel)and then it records . TV EPG overlayed doesn't remain.

As for 'stop' not working in fullscreen timeshifting, I thought this was by design. I prefer it that way.
