Unknown error occurred when starting live-tv with tv-server

When starting live-tv using client and tv-server I get the error messange. Timeshift can not start. Unknown error occurred. This does not happen if I restart my htpc and open Mediaportal at once. However, when starting the HTPC from standby I get this error message. This means that there most likely is something happening after resume from standby. Either that tv-server does not find the tv-card or the database is not ready etc.
I don't know.

I have seen other people having the same problem. This does not happen if I do not use the tv-server version.
But I prefer the tv-server due to all the other advantages.

Hi,
Logs doesn't contain anything about TV Server or MediaPortal so make a new one based on bug description you have.

In TVServer config\general there is a delay for detecting tuners, set it for say 20 seconds, make sure in the powerscheduler plugin reinitiliase tuners is enabled as well.

if this does not help, then as Roy says logs please, use the MPTestTool in your start menu to create.

Here is my logs.

It is a strange problem. Today I reinstalled RC1 refresh. Then it works. Then I updates to latest SVN. Didn't work. Went back to RC1 refresh. Does not work.

It has work without setting timeout to wait for the tv-cards, but I will test then.

Try these changes .

EPG idle grab - dissable.

Reinitialize tuners - enable. (in tvserverpowerscheduler plugin)

Also double check channel mappings .

Can you increase the cam limit for card 1.

Are you using standby or hibernation, in standby the tuners and graphs aren't being cleared (?)

Coming out of standby the tuner is possibly locked to an old channel or EPG grab.

Helps if you delete old logs so new logs are more compact and easier to follow.
