The import under xmltv-plugin configuration just works fine. But when going inte the EPG in Mediaportal there are faulty entrys for the first night. After that the epg-information seems ok, it is rather annoying, I want to import every night to get a fresh epg. I cleared all logs, the epg, rebooted, ran webebg, pressed import, went into EPG and collected the logs and pictures. After the fresh import the first program last over night according to the epg. See attached logs and pictures. I have seen this error in all RC1 SVN:n, I am not sure about the original RC1_refresh though. Any help is much appreciated, my wife is not so happy right now... :-) best regards melstig |

Country: | Hi melstig, To isolate the problem have you checked the content of TVguide.xml in the xmltv directory? It may be that the grabber does not work any more. Which one do you use? I'm using RC1 with webepg and dagenstv.com which works just fine, after I fixed some issues with the grabber... /Peter |

Country: | Hi, I am using scheduled webepg-grabber from the boxer site. The logs are from manual run of webepg and manual import. I am away from home tonight but i will try to make some more testing tomorrow, I can also try another grabber as suggested. The epg update has always worked in the past, pre RC1. melstig Petsa, are you using RC1 SVNs? Last edited by melstig; 2008-05-13 at 20:25. Reason: Comment to Petsa |

Country: | When I let the automatic import that runs every minute import tvguide.xml, the EPG is ok. After that I tried to make a manual import again and everything worked just fine. I also tried to reproduce the error from my first post. Cleared the epg = manual import when renamed the webepg.xml file. Made a new manual import of webepg.xml. EPG is correct. There seems to be a problem when running a manual xmltv-import on a newly setup system that has an empty epg-database somehow!?!? ???? I am not keen on reinstalling my system to verify this theory :-) I will let my Web-epg schedule update the guide tonight and see what happens. thx melstig |

Country: | Hi melstig, I had similar problems when I first installed RC1, but the other way around. When I did a manual import it worked fine but with the automatic import it found all channels but imported no programs. I played around with the system for a while and it suddently started to work. I did try to use the xmltvimport.dll from a pre-1.0.0.0 installation just in case something had changed. This probably won't help ![]() /Peter Last edited by petsa; 2008-05-14 at 21:31. |

Country: | Tonight I had a scheduled webepg grabber to run at 20:45. After that the first program for all channels spanned over night as before (see attached image). In the grabbed tvguide.xml there seems to be some problems, for example on svt1, for program "Rapport med A-ekonomi" the following is in the xml-file. <programme start="20080514193000" channel="SVT1-svt1@svt.se"> <title>Rapport med A-ekonomi</title> </programme> <programme start="20080515060000" channel="SVT1-svt1@svt.se"> <title>Gomorron Sverige</title> <desc>Med nyheter, väder, sport, ekonomi, kultur och fördjupning från soffan. Samtal och debatter, filmrecensioner och politiska kommentarer. Nyheter varje halvtimme från kl 06.00. Väder med långa och korta prognoser varje halvtimme.</desc> </programme> There is some programs missing between these entries. The problem seems to be with the webepg boxer grabber somehow, and not the import in TVServer. In MPs epg.log, the last program grabbed for today may 14 is "Rapport ...." at 19:30 and after that it goes ahead to the show that starts at 06:00. For tomorrow it grabs programs all the way to midnight. How can this happen?!? I will do some more testing, perhaps try to use a different grabber site as petsa suggested. melstig |

| Portal Tester | Hi, Have to look @ this when i have some time(if none else is), this could be the grab site which has problems. Usually you get import failed in tv-server when importer does something wrong. Grabber sites are based on user patches, but as already said i'll have a look if none else can ![]() Regards Roy |
