And everytime it changed channels it showed the timeshifting file buffer before the new channel was viewed. TV server RC4 is removed again and using MP RC4 with the latest SVN TV Server from RC3. | Portal Member | Did a fresh install again ... same error. posting logs ... but look around line 2547 in TV log ... i think that is were it goes wrong. It works on all channels that are not encrypted. Fast channel change and the correct timeshifting file is viewed. But when channel changing on channels that use CAM ... it goes wrong ... show wrong timeshifting file before the right one and channels changes takes a long time. I think it is something to do with the CAM handling ... but im no programmer :-) thank's for help... Regards |

Country: | For some reason your first card fails to tune (probably the decryption fails). This causes the timeshifting on card1 to fail, which takes 15 seconds timeout. This also causes the tuning on second card to complete, which then starts from the beginning of timeshiftbuffer, because this occurrence (timeshifting starting on a different card than expected) is not properly handled by MP (a seek to end operation is not called). Your tv.log is filled with these entries: "2008-11-29 12:13:13.559488 [8]: Controller: Timeshifting failed, lets try next available card." Try unplugging your CAM module and plugging it in again. If you can't get the card to work with encrypted channels, your CAM module might be broken, try exchanging the CAM's between the fireDTV's. As a workaround you might choose to map only FTA (unencrypted) channels to the malfunctioning card.

| Portal Member | Did a fresh install and enabled the CAM on cards. Both cards are working correct. When working correct i am that sure bacause in DVBviewer channels change is about 0,5 second on both cards and when installing RC3 from scratch it works great. Only problem is with RC4. Any comments or anything else i should try ? Regards |

Country: | have also moved priority to 3rd. did not help tried to increase time "waiting for scrambled signal" to 5/10/15 seconds also nothing- premiere stay dark - when i put the card in my dboxII it is lightning up ... so my nagra3 card is OK i guess i'll try now reinstalling RC3 - to see if that is a hardware problem with my CI-Modul ... (cost less time to install RC3 than to rebuilt the hardware..) EDIT: seems to be that i have a hardware problem here - also RC3 dedicated TV-Server can't unscramble signals .. ![]() hold figners cross that my CI is still alive.. EDIT II: think i solve the problem (or better found it - but still here): the Flat-cable between the CI and the TT-DVB-Card is broken (kabelbruch?) must have been damaged while i removed the card and put it in the server ![]()
