I use ffdshow codec, it read MPEG4 codecs and is able to read subtitle from various format, you have to make sure you enable the subtitle reding in the Video Decoder configuration to make it work.
It will always work after that, I wish I could disable them on the fly sometimes, but I think I'll file a wish list about it... |
