Hi, thanks for this. I tried to do some searching on this, but there is absolutely no way of a "Media Player Only" repair. One would have to repair the whole System. Also Media Player 11 for Vista cannot be downloaded separately for a reinstallation. There is a hack to downgrade to WMP 10, but it looks a bit dangerous. I will try to do some more debugging when I have a bit of time.
