If you are using Vista logos need to be copied to C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos rather than C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos where they are in XP.
This may not help but is just a thought.
