I think I understand your first question correctly. If you click the toggle button in the search screen that says "Title", and then you go down to the "Starts With" button you can use the left and right arrow buttons on your remote to cycle through the alphabet. This will bring up all shows that start with a given letter. Now, if you go over to the list of shows that is now visible and select one of them, you'll get a list of airings of that show and as you scroll through the airings you'll see each ones description. Is that what you meant?
As for your second question; open up Mediaportal's Setup, go to plugins, scroll down to schedules direct and right-click/configure it. Click the "Advanced Options" tab and you should see a box at the top that allows you to choose "{number} {callsign}". Choose that and check the box below it that says "Rename existing channels..." and you should be good to go. You may also want to check the "Force guide update on next MediaPortal startup" box so that it goes ahead and renames them for you. |
