hi guys

since I did not see any chance to get MP running properly on Vista x64, I have installed XP Pro last night. Unfortunately, this did not fix my problem.

Picture is more fluent but still choppy. in my TV the preview window does not work... I only receive a pciture every 3 seconds. If I swith to full screen in myTV the picture is more or less fluent. However, still some hangups every five to ten seconds.

I use the ATI MPEG Codec for video and the Cyberlink (TechnTrend) codec for H264. Audio Codec I use the MPA. With this combination I experienced the best result. However, it is not what I expected...

to answer your questions: the MP process runs with priority high. This I already tried.

Moreover, I turned of hardware acceleration. Updated all drivers, Bios etc. reinstalled MP... nothing helps.

I have installed MP 0.2.3.0. Do you think it is worth trying an older version e.g. 0.2.2.0???

I expected the setup of MP more simple...

Hope I can get that system up and running. From the features I have tested so far MP looks really nice!

Anybody out there who has similar configuration with same motherboard??? Any hints???
