Help us DeployTool Translations

DeployTool Translations

The DeployTool is able to guide the users thought the installation process in their native language.
To do this, the texts have to get translated.
And for this, we need your help!
  1. during the installation of MediaPortal 1.0 RC1 check if there allready is a translation for your language.
If not, please follow this guide and create one.
  2. download the attached translation tool TranslationTool.zip
  3. unzip the downloaded file
  4. download the latest ::text-base-version:: into the unpacked translation tool folder (right click -> save as)
  5. start the translation tool
  6. select "File -> open" and choose your language
    deploytool-translations-translation_1.jpg deploytool-translations-translation_2.jpg
  7. every text which is missing a translation is displayed "red"
    deploytool-translations-translation_3.jpg
  8. doubleclick in one empty box to open the edit window
  9. in this window you see the english term below, to help your with the translation
    deploytool-translations-translation_4.jpg
  10. once you are finished, click "file -> save" which will create a new *.resx file in the folder where the translation tool is located
  11. create a zip file out of your created *.resx file, post a reply in this thread and attach this zip file. the next release version of MediaPortal will then contain your translation.

for your help!
