Hi,

Built my 1st HTPC, spec below but after all the time and effort, the HD quality is marginally better than DVD. I've downloaded the latest drivers and firmware updates for all components that I can find.

I've downloaded some HD WMV clips that are definitely an improvment on SD but I can't say I'm 'blown away' by the improvment. But playback of blu-ray movies is dissapointing to say the least.

Anybody have a similar set up and experienced anything better?

Blu-Ray Drive: Pioner BDC-202
Motherboard: ABIT AN-M2HD
CPU: AMD 5200+
Graphics card: MSI Zilient 8800GT
Monitor: Hitachi:"42PD7200
Playbalc software: Cyberlink PowerDVd Ultra
