Yes, .Net 2.0 is installed. I was actually able to get past the installation by first downloading the SQLexpr32.exe separately in the Deploy folder and uninstalling previous versions of SQL Express 2005. However, I am unable to launch Mediaportal now. It crashes on launch. Is this fixed with the new release? The new release is still called MP 1.0 RC 1.0? Thanks. Here is the error log:
