I'm having this other problem
5sec to open a .ts file with TsReader (another reason for Vista, NO Respondig Window)

The problem is with Tsreader opening files that are on "R:\..."...
But I don't know c++ :-(

I think that if we try to fix most of the "long time" process we will fix most of the "no responding" issues..
