Hi m.standish,
I would like to try your procedure; however, I am running into a higher level trouble, namely I am trying to edit on the fly a lyric to get a .lrc file but it didn't work: no text appeared in the LRC editor menu (while text was ok with the Lyric menu). Then, I have (succesfully) tried to import a .lrc file, but when playing the song no text appears (even if the menu was switched to LRC). I'am using MP 1.0.0 RC1 (no SVN yet), with Bluewo skin.

I saw that a previous thread reported on some bugs realted to this topic (.lrc are not displayed anymore?)
Are you able to see (scrolling) .lrc file with no problems?
