Hmmz, I don't know why you are talking about WAN. The files are on my LAN. I mentioned the static ip because I thought it could be that with dynamic ip's the program didn't know how to save the location, since the ip changes everytime. But since it works with domainnames it's prolly no difference.
So to be clear, the movie files or music files or pictures are stored on another pc in my LAN. I want to add them to mediaportal as shares. When I add them using the configuration tool and I open mediaportal I can see the shares. The next time I start mediaportal (after I've shutdown and restarted my pc for example) the shares aren't there anymore, so if I want them I have to add them each time I use mediaportal. Maybe I should directly edit the config files myself or something... |
