How fast can you change channels?
channel change speed 4-5 seconds (thi is including the zap-delay of 2 seconds, so say 2-3s) depending on destination. SD channels change faster.
But sometimes it's faster and sometimes it's slower.

Do you know how I can check if Ned1HD is using DVXA?
a simple check would be to see if your the overlay is flickering it's a bug in MP that only occurs when DXVA is active.

For me Ned1HD is a bit sluggish (fast moving things like the EK2008 are just not perfect ), could you tell me your exact settings for TV?
When i get home i will post some xml config values but the general setup is:

- MP: NO post-postprocessing filters for TV (DXVA will get disabled otherwise)
- MP: PowerDVD 8 Codec for both MPEG2 and h264 in TV (see codec settings in FP)
- MP: NO deinterlacing (let PowerDVD handle this)
- POWERDVD: Hardware Acceleration is active (PDVD8 does not have DirectX filter options in MediaPortal)

I'm not happy with the hardware accelerated deinterlacing on the ATI HD3200 - probably the ati driver because earlier driver versions looked better.
Still hoping that a HT 3.0 capable cpu will improve this or the driver gets a good fix. Jaggies/Combing are very noticeable when watching SD channels so you're better of not enabling hardware acceleration for interlaced MPEG2. Deinterlacing HD channels (H264) works fine but could be better also. Luckily for me ned1 broadcasts a progressive hd signal so no deinterlacing is needed there.
