Hello zoedragon,
the MPTray plugin works ONLY with MCE-remotes so forget about using it with the Gyration remote. However you can tell EventGhost to start MediaPortal when you press the Green button.
Bottomline anyway: There is no way to make the Gyration-remote work completely without and Input-mapper such as EventGhost at all.
