well option for de-interlace set on hardware does work ..
but i am confused, the option "aggresive de-interlacing" is switched on, so it should de-interlace anyway ?
when set to hardware, mediaportal uses 25% of my quadcore extreme.. (1 core fully more or less)
and when set to none (but with the "aggresive de-interlacing" option enabled) it looks better...
and all my channels work perfectly..
so not gonna bother with it ... it works, picture looks good enough for me..
maybe next weekend gonna try a different codec, (after i make an image of the working system
)
