The way I detect if a DVD is inserted it by using the code from the Audio CD side of things. Theres a guy at Microsoft who released a class to let you burn CD's (http://www.gotdotnet.com/workspaces/...8-cf794409a37e) and this is the code that Gucky used.
So if there are any weird detections....afraid its nothing to do with my code

Ive thought about whether it would be better to use a common program for both CD's and DVD's (I use cdrecord.exe for DVDs) but the codes there and it works (for most ppl!)
