The best is to do a clean install & configure everything again, you'll then have a nice fresh install without possible "old" bugs related to db changes etc. I know thats not the easiest but gives the best results, here it takes about 1 hour to set it up as I want + the time scan for music which depends on your music collection size.
The other way it's to uninstall old MP version & don't delete the MediaPortal folder, then install MP 0.2.2.0. You'll have all your old settings, but don't complain/post about bugs before you have tested a fresh install
