Default Version 0.2.0.0 Beta

Hi there!

Sooner then expected, i think it's time for this to be tested "out in the field": PureAudio.mpi
This version contains a brandnew ASIO engine that replaces bassasio.dll. The rest is the same as 0.1.4.0.

For this to work, you need to install this C++ runtime: Attachment 19782

Knows issues:
  • For now it only supports 32 bit ASIO channels, if you have any other, an error will occur.
  • The plugin configuration applet still uses bassasio.dll for device and channel selection.

I have to specially thank Rob Philpott. His publication CodeProject: Low latency audio using ASIO drivers in .NET. Free source code and programming help gave me a jumpstart!

Keeping my fingers crossed (...Vista...??)

I vote for WASAPI exclusive mode too. With WASAPI should work AC3/DTS passthrough too

As soon as i have a Vista development environment available here, i'll look into it. But i'm afraid that's not gonna happen real soon.

Well I am a guy (I assumed you were as well), but when awesomeness as this is involved you just have to transcend beyond gender borders
