Known bugs / Todo / Changelog

--- INSTALLATION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: Delete the old "Black & White 1080" skin folder (Remember to take a backup of you backdrops and fanart in the media folder!)
C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Black & White 1080

2: Deleted all files and folders in your cache folder
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache

3: Copy "Black & White 1080" to the skin folder
C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin

Directories might differ from your OS and language.

"MediaPortal - Configuration" -> Check "Start with basic home screen"

Customize: Change and remove items from Basichome

Customize: Add your own backdrops/fanart

This skin is made with a 1920x1080 resolution. Rescaling is to other resolution might distort it.

LOVE the new TV/TV Guide screens.

The little icons for the side menus are great too! Cant wait to get home and test this.

Any major changes to the Basic Home? Or can I take over my customized one from V0.6?

Also - has the "+15" "+30" etc on the TV when fast forwarding been changed in this release? it didnt quite work in the old release (too dark - black text on black screens & randomly placed in the centre)?

The basichome xml file has not changed from v0.6 so you can use your custom one.

The "Skip text" is moved a little and changed to white.

sorry I've been away this weekend so haven't been able to reply about for the record.
Recorded TV now overlaps titles, so no right click can be accessed.
Selecting record on TV guide works but has an error reforencing an xml.
I can test the active recordings problem because there is a recording in process at the moment, I'll look later.

I really love this skin, and now it's even better . The TV guide is much better with the extra lines, got all my favorite channels in 1 view now. The myTV is also very nice with the little icon (even if the text does not fit on my 1680*1050 resolution, which is not your problem as it is intended for 1080 )
The recorded TV is also much better!

Hello, i'm new to this whole experience and loving it especially your skin thanks.

One thing i noticed though was that if you have fanart in the imdb folder it will appear for the film in the list and the folder for the film when selected, if you have fanart in the video title folder it will appear for the film in the list view but not the view for the individual film folder, is there something i need to change or is this a bug.

I recon your structure is something like:

The Matrix\
The.Matrix.1999.DVDRip.XviD.avi

fanart_videos_imdb use the IMDB number from the MediaPortal video database:
The Matrix\ (tt123456.jpg = Ok)
The.Matrix.1999.DVDRip.XviD.avi (tt123456.jpg = Ok)

fanart_videos_title use the selected item:
The Matrix\ (The Matrix.jpg = Ok)
The.Matrix.1999.DVDRip.XviD.avi (The.Matrix.1999.DVDRip.XviD.jpg = Not ok)

It has to be like this because you can have for example documentaries that aren’t listed on IMDB and you haven’t added to the video database.

I recommend you to rename your fanart to the IMDB number.

It's in my htpc which the girlfriend is using, can’t risk anything on it
