OK, I've replaced the weather icons located in \Mediaportal\weather\64x64 (& 128x128) using the same name. However, when i go to the weather screen, i get the original icons. Are they being pulled from the internet every time its refreshed? Is there a cache i need to delete?

Also, when im in the picture screen, the arrow keys on the firefly remote wont change the picture. The arrow keys on the keyboard work properly, and the remote arrow keys work on all other screens... Any ideas?

Open MP config, top left is link to user files, there you will see the cached folder, just delete the contents, not the folder

Really not sure about your second, maybe enabling as hid device instead will work.

OK got it...

I do notice that first time opening weather screen gives small icon for todays weather, but exiting out of the weather screen and back in again gives the large icon again...

I'll try that for the picture screen.. I can use the channel up/down to zoom a pic, but arrow keys or ff/rew wont advance the pictures and play doesnt start a slideshow.... I'll keep digging...

i've narrowed it down to two sets...

1) Grzanka's weather icons: Grzanka's Icons nr 2 by ~voogee on deviantART
(not sure about that wind sock thing... oh and i had to shrink them down as well, they were only 128x128)

2) XMBC weather icons: not sure where to download them so here is a sample pic...
(i could probably post them here or RS or something)

There are several sets on deviantart also.....
