| Portal Member | Hi guys, Please could someone tell me how I can use different players, or different decoders for different file types. For example, .mov files play best in VLC. Whereas .wmv play best in media player. Ideally I would like to play them within media portal itself, so is there a way of selecting the decoder each player uses depending on the file type? Thanks |

Country: | As long as you have the correct decoders installed and registered, and you have the extensions listed in MediaPortal Setup, MediaPortal will automatically select the correct decoder to match the file type ... You can see what decoder is being used by MediaPortal, while playing each file type, by using GraphEdit - use the "Connect to remote graph.." option. |
