Hope somebody cann help me .

My MP is running impressively stable. Great work !!
Bt there is still one main problem. Playing of DVDs. In all tested Versions (even in 0.2.3.final) i have these problems:

Using Powerdvd 7 I got a black picture and sound. There are some DVDs (James bond 007 Casino Royale) in which I the subtitles of the Trailers are shown, but still no movie picture.
With Dscaler and MPV I see a Picture but it is full of block-errors. The sound is stuttering.
I Tried all possible combinations of all installed sound and videos codecs but the problems mentioned above still remained. Outside of MP all DVDs are playing without problems.

Would someone please tell me his used combination of MP Version and codecs for dvd playing .

What can I do to eliminate the problem.

Thanks in advance

I am using FFDShow(video codec) with AC3Filter(Audio Codec). I have found that with my setup (690G Chipset) I could not get Hardware acceleration to work (DXVA). May I suggest turning hardware accel off for MPEG and see how you go - Just based on my problems with the same symptoms.

Hi Cavalier33

What do you mean when you say "activated the codecs in MP", do you use 'AVS DVD Player' as an external player?

I can confirm the problem for playing back a DVD. With Cyberlink codec I only get sounds but no video, with every other codec (ffdshow, MPV, ...) I get terrible stutter...

DVD plays well in Media Player, so it is definitely a MP problem.

I am running 0.2.3.0 stable release on a ATI 690G board...
