| Is this possible. Is anyone able to post process from MY TV by selecting the 'enable ffdshow post-processing' button? Reason i ask is that i am unable to post process ANYTHING at all thru ffdshow. Am i missing the point? Do i need an ffdshow plugin at all? I have installed ffdshow (standard install) and ticked OSD, set up all MediaPortal outputs (MY TV, VIDEOS, PLAYDVD) to post process yet still nothing?? Vids and dvd's use TT2.4 as player (again with ffdshow setup). Standalone TT2 works and displays OSD no problem. From MediaPortal, nada, zilch, nought! Any ideas? |

| Thanks for the prompt reply! Well, i tried the suggestions in both links and still nothing on screen but i'm beginning to wonder if TT could be the problem as when i switched to the suggested ffdshow 20051115.... and setup the 'raw' only filter all i saw was that filter in the config. But, when i went into TT2 and looked at properties of ffdshow from within the program (after checking that it was indeed the same version of ff) the 'codecs' had all changed back to what you would expect if you hadn't 'raw'ed it froma command line, strange or to be expected?? The raw 'all-supported' WAS there alongwith everything else. Now just how this would affect my OSD is a mystery to me but i'm still with it at the moment. A quick question - should i be seeing OSD overlayed on TV stream if i post-process thru ffdshow or not??? If so, then i assume that this is not handling any file-type at all as if it is then which one and where do i need to tell FFDSHOW to expect it? Similarly, if i play a recorded TV file, do i need to tell TT2 wich file tpe to expect for post processing and how. At the mo i only have .ifo .vob .ts .mpg .mpeg ticked in TT2. Should i be passing more to see a better recordedpicture? A couple of probs there, main one being no OSD!! Thnaks people ... |
