| Portal Member | While making a recording a few nights ago, with a few minutes to go to the end of the show, my system crashed and had to be rebooted cold. What I'm left with is a 3Gb dvr-ms file which appears to be corrupt and won't play (MediaPortal just ignores it completely, Windows MediaPlayer says "this type of file is not supported"). Presumably, most of the video is in there, there's just been some sort of header information gone astray when the system crashed and the file wasn't closed off properly. Does anyone know of any software/procedures that might rescue my recording? |
