| MediaPortal Version: 1.0 Windows Version: XP CPU Type: AMD 4400+ HDD: 1 TB Seagate Memory: 2 GBs Motherboard: Video Card: NVidia Geforce 8600 Video Card Driver: Latest from nvidia TV: 32-inch Samsung LCD TV - HTPC Connection: DVI -> HDMI I've tried searching the forums and haven't found much - perhaps I'm searching for the wrong terms. Basically, I used Goose's FFDSHOW codec guide exactly and although the video quality is much improved, I get terrible ghosting. I've tried changing settings in ffdshow but without resolution. The only thing that gets rid of the ghosting is changing MPs movie codecs back to default, but then the quality is very poor. I've also tried VLC on fullscreen on the same tv with better video quality than MPs defaults and no ghosting, but still not up there with ffdshow. So, my question is this: has anyone encountered this problem? Does anyone have any advice on what in ffdshow is causing this and is there a work around? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. -Chris |
