Default how can I enable WMR9 with internet streams (myRadio)

Hi all... I like very much VMR9 option, it allows view movies in PC and TV withouth changing configuration of my Nvidia Card (selecting default screen)

But when I see internet tv streams in Myradio, I can see stream only in one of the screens (TV or PC), so I think VMR9 is not enabled in Windows Media Player... how can I enable VMR in windows media player to be able to see streams in both screens everytime?

Thanks

is that the fact? because i don't think so. isn't MP using windows media player for TV/Radio streams respectivly for the mytrailers features? as far as i am concerned WMP isn't capable of VMR9.

i also did start a thread questioning if it's possible to let WMP use VMR 9 but noone replied )-;

it is also very important for me beacause i have a selfbuild beamer in use wich consists (basically) of an OHP and TFTpanel. anyway (don't wanna bother ya'all with my beamerprobs) i have to use powerstrip to move the "image" of the TFT down and that results in the fact that the computer definitly crashes when VMR7 is used. (the picture must be cloned so i have a normal picture on my laptop screen and an incompatible resolution on my beamer VMR7 obviously can't handle that)

because of that i'm glad that MP is using VMR9 but nevertheless my PC crashed or freeze the picture when (trying to) playing trailers or internet TV or even music (because of the visualisation window) with MP

well, now i got lost in my own posting (-; .. just wanted to use the thread to refocuss my problem

or am i completly wrong and WMP in MP uses VMR9? than i have really NO CLUE why this problem keeps bothering me

official news -> its a fact. overlay and VMR7 support is removed from MediaPortal

and WindowsMediaPlayer uses VMR9.

just look at your MediaPortal.log if you dont believe me. you will only find VMR9 entries.

In that case, what's the reason why movies can be watched in both screens (TV and PC) at the same time and trailers or other internet streams cannot?

yes, and in that case, why do is still have the problems mentioned before

and why does MP say "make sure that your playing sth and that it's VMR9" if i intend to watch a trailer / stream in background tv?

try this - if you go into wmp, then 'tools'->'options'->'performance' tab->advanced
make sure 'use video mixing renderer' is selected for both video acceleration and dvd video.
i think by default it's not switched on, and uses overlay instead.

(i think you MAY need to select 'use high quality mode' as well, but i'm not sure on that one)

Thanks, I haven't tried this, but I tried into wmp>'tools'->'options'->'performance' tab->advanced> disable 'use overlay' and it worked for me... is there a reason why it's enabled by default? nobody knows...

Thanks all
