Question Installing codecs in the correct order

I think I'm not alone by reading through the forums about all codecs available.

Right now I've setup my Media Portal with PowerDVD, and the Combined Community Codec Pack (http://www.cccp-project.net/)

My setup currently works and I'm reluctant to alter it because in the past this has lead to complete re-installs.

Is there anybody out there who knows the correct order to install codecs? Also, I installed the CCCP codecs AFTER MediaPortal.

RMVB's still don't play currently but I've had weird issues with RMVB codecs in the past.

What I (and most people) would like is a set of codecs, listed in the correct order of installing that just plays all sorts of files. Also any help about the MediaPortal configuration of what codec to use for what type of action is greatly appreciated.

The HD codecs seem to add more complexity to the already f*cked-up codec situation at present!

Thanks for any responses that provide any help in the codec hell
