Installing DScaler after MP

I'm having a few issues with audio in tv eg. I have no audio! I'm wondering if it is a codec issue. I didn't install DScaler when I installed MP but afterwards installed PowerDVD6. I now want to try and DScaler codec- is there any way of installing it after MP has been installed??

not installing DScaler should not cause any issues with sound. It's just another codec that would appear in the selection drop down.

If you have no audio in TV then it must be something different.
If you use the software that came with the TV card do you have sound?
Is the card analog or digital TV? There's a number of possibilities, best to answer the above questions and also post specs and logs.

The software that came with the card is the same- no sound.
It's a digital card- Winfast DTV2000 H
I don't want to go through posting logs, specs, etc all over again. I've already posted these issues up and haven't had any luck. I'm over media portal and this stupid htpc thing. 4 months of trying and it's still crapping out on me.
