Internet Radio not using winamp

I am having a problem getting my internet radio to open winamp. I have configured the MP plugin to recognize .pls files. I can open a .pls file directly with winamp. I can play music within MP and winamp will open up. How can I play my internet radio with winamp?

where and how do you add the pls extension for winamp?

I've got Internet Radio to work. You need to use Shoutcast (www.shoutcast.com) there are details in the forum somewhere (Tips and Tricks I think, just search for shoutcast).

Also, someone has written a shoutcast plugin here

you doesn't need shoutcast to listen .pls streams. give me more infos about your config

Anyone able to solve this problem?

I've also added .pls files to the winamp plugin config but MP always plays them.
